Banditry: Katsina PDP youths train in catapult use

Following Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari’s change to Nigerians to defend themselves against bandits and other criminals, members of the Katsina State Peoples Democratic Party Social Media Organization, have commenced sharpening their skills in the use of locally made catapults.

News of this was made public in a statement released by the Chairman of the group, Nurudeen Kankara.

Tagged, “Operation Catapult Shoot”, the youths claim they embarked on the exercise in response to Governor Masari’s directive.

Governor Masari, during the inauguration of the Katsina Joint Security Operations and Communication Control Centre on June 25, described as ridiculous the way people in the state are reluctant to defend themselves against bandit attacks.
