Man nabbed for stealing provision items in Anambra

The Vigilante in Anambra state have arrested a 34-year-old man Chukwuma KC popularly known as Ejima KC on Friday for stealing no fewer than 2 bags of indomies and other provision items.

The suspect held from Dunukofia LGA, Ukwulu town, the items stolen are cartons of indomie, Milo, Milk and Washing soaps.

According to the suspect, he said that the shop he stole the items where open at night and for that reason he went in to pick the items as he wishes.

Parading the suspects, the vigilante, thanked the people of the village for giving them the vigilante useful information that resulted in the arrest of the suspects.

Recall, a 32 year-old-man identified as Ndubuesi Ndubuesi, on Thursday, June 17, was arrested by youths in Ukwulu town, in Dunukofia local government area of Anambra State for allegedly stealing a bag of rice.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to stealing the bag of rice, saying that it was not his first time engaging in such an act.

The village spokesman commend the vigilante groups on their successful operations within the village and outside the town.
