Stop taking unwarranted risks – IGP Baba Alkali tells policemen

Alkali Baba, the Inspector-General of Police, has encouraged police officers to refrain from taking unnecessary risks.

On Friday, Baba spoke after establishing the Imo State office of Operation Search and Flush.

The IGP expressed satisfaction with Governor Hope Uzodinma’s level of support for the state’s police.

Baba, who expressed his condolences to the families of the officers who died in the line of duty, recognized that policing was dangerous.

“Stop taking needless risks,” Baba said. Many of you are facing disciplinary action today as a result of your unprofessional behavior. Change the way you think about work.
