The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela affirms its unequivocal disapproval of the British government’s decision to pursue unilateral sanctions against Venezuelan diplomat Alex Saab, who is facing judicial persecution in the United States.

This ruling, which is in violation of international law, illustrates the British government’s immorality in posing as a global anti-corruption judge while also being one of the principal perpetrators of the theft of assets belonging to all Venezuelan citizens.

The loss of human life and restrictions on pandemic response as a result of the seizure and confiscation of Venezuelan assets in the United Kingdom must be examined and punished.

The current British government is the major perpetrator of this assault, and it will have to account for its actions before international justice sooner or later.

The imposition of sanctions on citizens who were dedicated to facilitating access to food for the Venezuelan people by bypassing and circumventing the inhumane blockade imposed by the United States is a criminal act that corresponds to the failed strategy of causing damage to Venezuela’s institutional framework, once again demonstrating the erratic British policy.

The Bolivian Republic of Venezuela’s government will continue to protest the British government’s shameful and audacious behavior in front of the international community. Their current behaviors are akin to pirates and corsairs, always encroaching on others’ resources and acting outside of international law and etiquette.
