Leicester City overcame Manchester City 1-0 in the Community Shield on Saturday, with Kelechi Iheanacho scoring the game-winning goal off the bench.
The game was tied at 0-0 and appeared to be headed to penalty kicks.
With only three minutes left in the second half, Nathan Ake fouled Daka in the area.
Iheanacho took the ball and kicked it past Steffen in the City goal.
This is the second piece of silverware for Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, this year.
The Foxes defeated Chelsea 1-0 in last season’s FA Cup final.
City will begin their title defence against Tottenham Hotspur next week, while Leicester welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers.
